Role & Title: Barista Trainer & Technician
Location: Falmouth, Cornwall, TR115PD
Position Period: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hrs p/week (occasional weekend work expected)
Salary: £27,000  - £29,000 DOE
Extras: Use of company vehicle + employee bonus scheme

We’re looking for a friendly and motivated person to join our team. This is a great opportunity for anyone passionate about specialty coffee who enjoys being on the road.

We’re looking for someone with industry experience as a barista or within a coffee roastery. You must have good communication skills, two years of driving experience (minimum) and a level of coffee equipment knowledge (preferable, but not essential for the right candidate).

As part of our wholesale service, we ensure deliveries are made by skilled baristas with a good knowledge of machinery maintenance and servicing. It’s a unique and multi skilled job that allows us to offer wholesale customers a fantastic service. You will be responsible for training, delivery of weekly orders & a level of technical support.

Responsibilities

• Delivering weekly orders to our wholesale customers.

• Barista training sessions for our wholesale and retail customers

• Troubleshooting, repairs & maintenance for a range of coffee equipment.

• Coordinating with your line manager to ensure all customers have the best experience & service.

• Keep up with developments in coffee making and communicate them to our customers. 

• Attend training “calibration” sessions and regular cuppings. 

• Attend trade shows and events when needed

• Some weekend & out of hours call out responsibilities
