About the coffee

Fundacion Pride

Pride coffee is grown with intention, from selective hand-harvesting to using regenerative practices like building floral corridors. These practices have helped create a reliable income for the communities involved, increased biodiversity, and led to steady growth.

For the people involved, growing coffee is both a livelihood and a statement—one rooted in pride, resilience, and care for the land. Every cup reflects their commitment to farming responsibly, supporting one another, and reshaping what Colombian countryside and community can look like.

Meet the Producers

Pride Coffee represents a commitment to social transformation. It is a coffee born from an initiative dedicated to inclusive practices, opening spaces for empowerment for the rural LGBTQI+ community, promoting dignified opportunities and visibility in a traditionally conservative sector.

Every pound exported carries with it the story of resilience of those who cultivate with pride, dignity, and environmental consciousness.

our buying standards

Social Impact

The Yallah Buying Standards are a set of criteria to enable us to source coffee in a way we feel aligns with our values and principles.

Our impact work in coffee producing regions is directly linked with the communities we purchase coffee from. We want to see those communities prosper in all areas of their life, not just coffee production, and for the benefit of all within the community.

Fundacion Pride coffee is not just a product; it is a declaration of principles: to regenerate the soil whilst regenerating communities. Each cup is a bridge between diversity and quality, between coffee tradition and social innovation. Choosing Pride Coffee means joining a fair, inclusive, and sustainable value chain that transforms lives, cares for the land, and honors coffee culture with responsibility.

Environmental Efforts

On the farms, biochar, a plant-based charcoal, is applied to improve soil structure, retain nutrients and water, and contribute to carbon sequestration, reducing the environmental footprint. Floral corridors are also established to encourage the proliferation of pollinators, increasing biodiversity in the coffee landscapes. Thanks to these practices, the coffee plantations maintain their natural fertility, prevent erosion, and elevate the quality of the bean.

Thanks to the implementation of good agricultural and regenerative practices, production has shown sustained growth compared to the previous year, reflecting an increase in both volume and the consistency of bean quality. Each cup is a bridge between diversity and quality, coffee tradition and social innovation.
