In the run up to Christmas, we were chatting about what we could put together that had more of a purpose than just another gift box. A selection of amazing coffees is obviously a cool thing, but we wanted to do a little more. We decided to put together a selection of coffees grown by farmers that are focused on sustainable coffee production, from an environmental perspective. The coffees are here in the roastery and test roasts have begun. The series will be released in the coming weeks.

It's a topic which we're increasingly concerned by and one which, is sometimes ignored by specialty coffee roasters. Indeed for the last few years, I believe the taste beats all way of thinking has overshadowed other important aspects of why the consumer and/or roaster should choose the coffees they are drinking.

Our aim was to find coffees grown in this manner, that stand tall and proud tasted against the best coffees in the world. Beating stereotypes that say organic, sustainably grown coffee can't taste as good as the best.

If you're interested in the project keep your eyes peeled on here and our social media as it'll be available very soon. We'll also be holding an open day at the roastery at the start of December if you want to come and chat. Date tbc.
