Tojtik Guatemala
A true collaboration of like-minded folk putting people & community first. This coffee has travelled on 3 ships, before arriving just a few miles from our roastery. Combining new technology with marine heritage, passion, love and genuine belief that this movement is here to stay.
We’re beyond exited to release this wonderful coffee. You can expect a very sweet cup with deep notes of chocolate, orange and brown sugar. It's the sort of coffee you want to drink day in day out

- Roasted using our 20kg electric roaster, which is powered by 100% renewable energy.

Wider Impact
Of course, this low-carbon transport method produces less C02, but this movement is about so much more than that.
We take responsibility for the actions of our business and the impacts we may cause, at every point in the supply chain.
By choosing sail, we are making a conscious decision to spend money with companies that take direct climate action.
This journey has been made possible through a community of people who are dedicating their lives to more sustainable and fairer business, bringing together farmers, ships & buyers, whilst putting people and planet first.
All Hands on Deck - The People

Belco
We have sourced this coffee through Belco, a french importer who have changed the game when it comes to sail ship transportation. Through their partnership with TOWT they utilise the highly efficient sail cargo vessels Anemos & Artemis to reduce the cost of transatlantic sail cargo.

Comptoir D'Éole
Sylvain charters the modern cargo sail boat ‘Grain De Sail’ to run a regular crossing from Porugal > France > UK. We need smaller shuttle boats to join the dots and maximise efficiency. On this occasion, Comptoir d'Éole have made entry to the UK by sail possible.

Sail Trade SW
The final leg of the journey (Plymouth to Port Navas) has been made possible by Dominic and Barbera Bridgman. They have restored The Ibis, a beautiful Cornish Lugger (Built 1929) to run as a small commercial cargo ship, promoting sailing heritage and sustainable food culture.
