Role & Title: Marketing & Ecommerce Manager

Location: Cornwall, UK
Hours: 37.5 hours per/week. Flexible work pattern available.
Pay: £32-£35K FTE DOP Per Annum

Yallah Coffee is one of the pioneers of environmental, community focused coffee roasting in the UK. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person to join our team, leading us on the next step of our journey and growth of the company. You’ll be responsible for developing and launching new concepts, campaigns, and products -  reaching new audiences and building our community. We want the world to know about the best bits of our business and we need your help doing it. 


Responsibilities:

Brand Communications

  • You will be responsible for the omni-channel delivery of our marketing strategy; managing social media output, email marketing, loyalty & product experience
  • Ensure we are effectively delivering our message; our guiding principles & pillars of the business 
  • Create campaigns & flows (trigger based emails) through our CRM (Klaviyo)
  • Manage our database using lists and segments, cleaning the database and segmenting to ensure we maintain high open rates and engagement 
  • Create and launch new creative concepts to reach new audiences & build loyalty
  • Ensure we’re aligned in messaging, tone of voice and experience across all channels

Ecommerce 

  • Be responsible for driving the acquisition of new customers through organic & paid channels
  • Oversee site updates and optimisation. You will create new products, blogs and page updates whilst ensuring existing content is fully optimised for SEO mobile shopping.
  • Grow B2C sales in line with company goals 
  • Increase Loyalty - Manage and improve our loyalty scheme through creative offerings, integrations and effective marketing
  • Identify and improve key areas within our current subscription model; customer service, key touchpoints & customer experience
  • Analyse data to inform website performance and effectiveness of marketing strategies

 

Design + Creative 

  • In house creative - you’ll be a key spark for creative thinking - whether this is working with our graphic designer or content creation for digital marketing. We want to see beautiful storytelling and honest education that increases our customers' understanding & appreciation for the coffee we sell
  • Photography - Ideally you will be our primary in-house photographer. You will shoot & edit new product photography for web, social and email marketing.
  • Product experience - continue to develop ideas on product experience and how this can help to increase value

Other

  • Develop and build your own team in line with our company goals 
  • Identify and manage paid promotions and PR opportunities
  • Manage a budget line for marketing & take responsibility for its performance
  • Outsource creative projects where necessary, managing this process and everyone involved.
  • Report on engagement, growth, customer retention & overall performance within your department

Requirements

  • Proven track record of developing a brand's vision and identity across multiple platforms
  • Passion to create positive change - putting people and planet first
  • Degree level or equivalent experience of marketing, graphic design or online merchandising
  • Experienced in managing CRM and CMS software
  • Proven track record in building meaningful relationships with customers, colleagues and community
  • Have a genuine interest in using business for good and conscious consumerism
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment and like to do things differently
  • Capability leveraging consumer data, insights and analytics to make decisions and drive change
  • Experience managing ‘Google’ ads
  • Ability to communicate with people across all different levels, nationalities, and cultures within and outside our business. 
  • Be able to present strategically to management while ensuring the rest of the team understand your vision
  • Creative with your ideas, curious, honest and bold, even if it means that you make mistakes
