We love Colombian coffee. Especially when it tastes like this. Complex and rich, tart but sweet. We’re delighted to be roasting this divine coffee and it’s a joy to brew at home too. It’s an easy one to crack and suits all brew methods.

Ricardo Ortega Ceron lives with his family on their small plot of land (less than 1 hectare), growing Caturra and Colombia coffee trees, as well as subsistence crops like banana, avocado, citrus, and guano. The farm is certified organic and they work hard to maintain this, making their own organic compost and organic liquid to help maintain soil nutrition and health.

Their Cooperative has several programs with a focus on empowering members with education and training to help them prosper post-conflict. They have also extended their micro-lot program this year with the farmers to help incentivise them to produce quality lots, which has brought the average gate price up by 15%.
