An exquisite example of a natural processed, Rwandan coffee. Jammy is the word we’ve been using to describe this unique, flavourful coffee. It’s got a lot going on and you can taste the ‘natural’ process, but it’s well balanced and has a syrupy finish which we’re sure you’re going to love.
The Kirambo coffee washing station sits on a hill with land stretching to the shores of Lake Kivu. In 2018 the Rwandan Trading Company bought the mill and invested heavily in impact programs and training certifications for farmers.
The quality of the coffee from this mill is telling. Both washed and natural lots cupped very highly and sold out within weeks of landing in the UK. This is a classic natural, sundried on raised beds for 30 days, with regular turning to ensure even drying. The heavy body and sweetness make this a great coffee for brewing espresso and cuts through milk like a dream.
