This slightly crazy sounding processing technique is a new one to us. While drying the coffee a sheet is laid over  the cherries and cold water poured on top. This creates a vacuum and reduces the fermentation temperature in an anaerobic environment. We’ve seen an explosion in experimental processing over the last few years but we’ve found it hard to find coffees that show their quality through the wild fermentation flavours. This one does just that.  

We’re excited to work with Raw Materials to buy this coffee. They donate 100% of profits back to producers and boast an average 400% profitability increase for the producers they work with.

Our Packaging & what to do with it...

Our 250g bags are 100% plastic-free and can be recycled with your household paper or composted in your garden. Our 1kg bags are home compostable but not domestically recyclable, please don't put them in your curbside recycling.
