A shining example of washed Ethiopia coffee, showcasing exotic flavours, prominent citrus acidity and a wonderful black tea finish. For us, it’s an exciting time to be buying Ethiopian coffee, with the change in rules to the Ethiopia Commodity Exchange we can now celebrate the individuals who produce lots like this.

This exceptional lot was processed, dry milled and exported by Testi Coffee, a family-run business owned by the Yonis family. The ‘Debo’ washing station was established in 2000 and now receives cherry from between 750 and 800 smallholder farmers.The cherry is delivered to various collection points, then taken to the washing station where it is pulped, fermented for 12 - 18 hours and fully washed. Finally, it’s dried slowly on raised beds, regularly raked and sorted to preserve the quality of the coffee.
