From the first moment we smelt samples of this wonderfully bright and zingy coffee it was a dead cert. Lush, exotic flavours are balanced with a creamy mouthfeel and a sweet finish. It's characteristics like this that make us smile, we're sure it'll make you smile too.

The Regional Select program was created by Café Imports to highlight unique profiles that are inherent to various microclimates within coffee-growing nations. Local variables like wind patterns, soil quality, sunlight, elevation, and other environmental influencers have much to do with the common characteristics that separate, say, a Northern Colombian from a Southern Colombian coffee, just as they inform the differences between a Colombian and a Kenyan.

This lot is from La Vega, Cauca, as is built as from coffees that cup between 84–87 on a 100-point cupping scale. Coffees from this region benefit from a high elevation, cool nights and good stock. For us, the results are obvious. This is a well processed, clean tasting coffee with plenty of character to keep you coming back for more. 

This is an omni-roast, perfectly suitable for both filter and espresso.
