Roasting & Brewing Class - 4 hours

This is a practical and fun class where you'll get learn the process of roasting and brewing. 

This class is split into two halves. One half focusing on roasting, where you’ll learn the basic principles of the process, including the roast cycle and how to control sensory aspects of the coffee by roasting light or dark. Following this, you'll roast your own 50g sample of coffee in our Ikowa sample roaster.  

The second half of the workshop will focus on brewing. This is about helping you improve the coffee you’re making. We’ll cover the most important variables that affect flavour: coffee, grind size, dose and yield. These principles can be applied to all brewing methods. 

We finish the day with a latte art session and competition, with the winner taking home 500g of green coffee to roast at home.

At the end of the day you'll take home the coffee you've roasted, skills to brew at home, plus a Yallah Keep Cup and 250g of our best coffee.
